Various types of CPO

A CPO used car means that many various rigorous technical checks have taken place and the second-hand car has been sold with a manufacturer’s warranty. Although a Certified Pre-Owned used car is usually a little bit higher in hierarchy within the marketplace, it does not necessarily mean the same for every single case. CPO underlies certain standards to follow and this is obviously true. Still, it can vary from one car manufacturer to another. So just what are the elements which can be the most variable? Firstly there is the number of points, which can be awarded during an inspection. As an example, Hyundai will give up to approximately 140 points at the technical check, whereas Audi can charm you with the limit of 300 points. Another benefit of a CPO used car is a trip-interruption service, which is also available in most cases, but not by all. Some manufacturers offer it, sometimes along with 24/7 roadside assistance. It is also recommended to take a look at periods of warranty offered for the certified used cars. These can be from one year to six years. Here, there seems to be one catch- in the case of longer warranty periods, the driver has to spend some amount of money as deductible – so a small calculation is simply advised. Apart from all the differences existing from one car producer to another, a CPO second-hand car is simply worth buying. The driver pays just a little bit more and has peace of mind in return.
